This is CMC’s 5^th consecutive year hosting its World Class Summer Chess Camp at St. Andrew's School.

Join us and discover the “Joy and Magic” of chess instruction from gifted Chess Masters, International Masters and inspired coaches, led by Jorge Sammour-Hasbun.

CMC chess camps are unique, inspirational and fun!

CMC chess camp will teach your child more than chess. At CMC camp your child will:

Increase logic and reasoning skills,

Improve decision-making skills,

Develop problem-solving techniques,

Increase self-confidence,  

Develop analytical thinking skills,  

Improve organizational habits and  

Increase patience and persistence.

Beginner through advanced                                                   Ages: 5-14

Daily activities include:

Problem solving, chess tactics, typical mates, end games, blitz exhibitions, history of chess, chess and art, good character  and life skills, sports and games, chess match with giant pieces, bughouse and more.

Tuition includes: 2012 camp T-shirt, score book, work folder, group photo and certificate of achievement.   Campers will also receive a CMC t-shirt or chess set.

Snacks and water will be provided to all participants during camp session, although campers should bring their own lunch.

NOTE: This year’s camp new hours are 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
