Events for January, 24 2012
U400 Program: TUESDAY – 01/10/2012 to 02/28/2012
This 8-week program is for kids who are new to chess but have already acquired basic skills such as piece movement, basic development and centralization strategy. If your child have played casual games with friends or family, but he/she has never played a USCF tournament or has only played a few times, this is the right class for him/her.
Dates: January 10, 17, 24, 31, February 7, 14, 21 and 28.

Prior knowledge of the game is NOT required to be part of this exciting 8-week program. Students will have fun learning the basics including the history of the game, name of the pieces and how they move as well as basic strategy and tactics.
